ABOUT THE WINES OF United States

The United States has been producing wine even longer than it's been a country. While California, Washington State and Oregon are the most acclaimed winemaking states, wine is produced in all regions of the country. For years, the U.S.'s "New World" wines were looked down on by "Old World" European winemakers, but today, thanks to a melting pot of European grape varietals, education and technology, they have become some of the most acclaimed.
