Torres traces its roots in Penedes, Spain back to 1870, and four generations later, Miguel A. Torres serves as its President. Members of the fifth generation are already hard at work, keeping the tradition alive.
The Torres family, generation after generation, has transmitted the secrets of winemaking and love of the land. This tradition, allied with a vision of the future, has turned Torres into a great exporting company currently trading in more than 130 countries.
REGION DESCRIPTION:The vast majority of Torres vineyards are situated in Penedès, limited to the North and South by the Roman monuments of the Devil's Bridge and the Arch of Bera. Other vineyards are located in Catalonia’s Conca de Barberà, Priorato, Montsant and Costers del Segre. The foundations of Catalonia's wine wealth are found in the natural conditions, ideal for the cultivation of many different grapes, red and white. Thanks to its climate, culture and history, Catalonia has converted itself into one of the most advanced and dynamic wine regions of the world.
