Griottini - Alsace

Auguste PEUREUX founded his distillery in 1864 in Fougerolles at the foot of the Vosges mountains.

The distillery specialised in the production of fruit brandies, including the famous Fougerolles kirsch, and before long these eaux-de-vie had acquired a widespread reputation, their excellence being recognised at the 1900 World Fair in Paris.

Auguste's son, André, followed in his father's footsteps. Claude PEUREUX then took up the reins of the company in 1948 and focused on preserving and perpetuating the great traditions and know-how of Franche-Comté's eau-de-vie and liqueur industries.

In 1950, the company conducted technological research related to the agri-food sector, and more particularly on specialty products for the catering professions. In 1955, Claude PEUREUX launched a Morello cherry line for chocolate makers, followed by GRIOTTINES® in the 1980s, wild Morello cherries macerated in a light kirsch syrup, and now a world-famous speciality.

Today, Grandes Distilleries PEUREUX is run by Bernard BAUD, Chairman.

In a shaker, put 6 ice cubes and pour: 4 cl of Griottines® Original Liqueur 12 cl of orange juice.

Shake and pour in a long drink glass. Decorate with a slice of orange.


In a shooter, pour 3cl of iced vodka Perfect 1864®,

then add 2 Framboisines® and their liqueur.


In a shaker, put 30 g of watermelon and 6 Griottines®.

Muddle, add ice then pour 3 cl of eau de vie de Poire Pure® Premium,

8 cl of passion fruit juice.

Shake, pour in a glass and decorate with a Griottines® brochette.


In a shaker, put a nice leave of fresh basil and 1 cl of elderflower.
Muddle, then pour :

3 cl of Eau de vie de Poire Peureux Pure® Premium,
8 cl of grapefruit juice.

Shake then filter in a martini glass, or a large cognac glass.


In a shaker, put some ice, then pour :

2 cl of vodka Perfect 1864®
3 cl liqueur Griottines®,
1 cl ginger syrup,
2 cl cloudy apple juice,
6 cl strawberry juice.

Shake, strain in a large champagne glass and add a rose petal.


In a glass, put some fresh leaves of mint and a half orange cut in slices.
Add a spoon of brown sugar.

Muddle, add some crushed ice then pour
3 cl of Eau de vie de Poire Peureux Pure® Premium.


In a champagne glass, put 1 or 2 Framboisines®
with their liqueur, then pour champagne.


In a glass, put some leaves of fresh mint,
2 cl of fresh lemon juice and 1 spoon of brown sugar.
Muddle, add some crushed ice,
1 strawberry cut in slices, 5 Framboisines®
and 4 cl of Vodka Perfect 1864®.
Decorate with a brochette of red fruits.
